Development of export markets of CJSC "OMNA" through participation in exhibitions

UAB „Omna“ is implementing the project “Development of UAB „Omna“ Export Markets through Participation in Exhibitions” No. 02-036-K-0039. The total value of the project is EUR 161,412.00, of which EUR 80,706.00 consists of European Union funds.

The project is being implemented in accordance with the conditions and procedures set out in the Contract, the description of the progress measure of the development programme No. 05-001-01-11-04 “Implementation of Measures to Promote Export Competitiveness Growth” under the activity “Promotion of the Internationalisation of SME Activities and Identification of New Export Markets (Central and Western Lithuania Region)”, approved by Order No. 4-438 of the Minister of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania dated 9 August 2023 “On the Approval of the Description of the Progress Measure No. 05-001-01-11-04 of the Economic Transformation and Competitiveness Development Programme of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania” (with the latest amendments), as well as in the Project Administration and Financing Rules, approved by Order No. 1K-237 of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania dated 22 June 2022 “On the Implementation of the 2021–2027 European Union Funds Investment Programme and the Economic Recovery and Resilience Plan ‘Next Generation Lithuania’”, and in the relevant EU and national legal acts referred to therein.

The project activities are aimed at promoting the export of UAB „Omna“ products, searching for new export markets and expanding existing ones, as well as increasing the company’s competitiveness. The investments are planned to be used for the presentation of the SME and its products at international exhibitions held abroad.

UAB „Omna“ is a specialised company that focuses primarily on in-depth market research, investment projects and the implementation of information technologies.

Since the company has already captured a significant share of the Lithuanian market, it is seeking to increase its turnover by exploring foreign markets. The first steps have already been taken — the company has begun export activities. However, to expand exports on a larger scale, it is necessary to present its products in detail at exhibitions, which requires substantial investment. The company does not have the resources to implement the project using its own funds, therefore external support is required, as there is an untapped opportunity to develop exports.

The objective of the project is to ensure the emergence of new export markets, thereby contributing to the diversification of the company’s markets and risks, as well as to the growth of turnover, exports, competitiveness and the overall increase in Lithuanian export volumes.

It is expected that participation in international exhibitions related to the company’s products will help find potential customers and partners in foreign countries who will appreciate the quality of UAB „Omna“ products and its many years of experience. The company is already exporting its products, but aims to make better use of its existing potential, and therefore intends to expand exports by participating in exhibitions. Interest from foreign countries is already evident. The exhibitions were selected taking into account that these are countries with a high level of technological development and enormous growth potential in the sector in which the company operates. By establishing the necessary contacts in these markets in a timely manner, it is possible to occupy a significant market share.

Project implementation period: 4 June 2024 – 15 October 2026.
